He is innocent. I know it.

The Caustic Continuum, Episode #001

Bill Stickers is Innocent, an audio exquisite corpse episode

Project description:

A fictional character by the name of Bill Stickers has been accused of a crime. Each participant contributes a two to ten minute fictional narrative (audio file) defending Bill Stickers. No where in the narrative must the crime of Mr. Stickers be mentioned. “It” may be alluded to indirectly, but we must never know what crime Bill Stickers did or did not commit. Imaginations may go wild as to Mr. Stickers’ character; anecdotes, witnessing, over the top dramatics are all encouraged. Musical backgrounds may be used, but should not be obtrusive, that is, dominate the narrative.

Each segment will be independent of the others. I will compile and edit the contributions into the final file, which should weigh in at about an hour, depending on the amount and length of submissions.

As an alternative to an audio file, a written rendition of Mr. Sticker’s innocence may be entered, and I’ll perform the narration myself.

An FTP account exists into which people may upload their files.

Submission format is at a minimum: 64kbps, 22.1khz MP3 or OGG Vorbis, stereo or mono (higher res files are preferred).

The end work will be published on various places on the web, TBD, but for sure archive.org, and of course this website.
Projected deadline for episode #1 submissions:
