cc Episode #2: Hygiene

2006
10.24

germs man, germs

For the next episode the topic/theme will be: HYGIENE. (we’re talking physical hygiene, but if anyone wants to tackle the concept of mental hygiene, have at it! ;)

Regarding hygiene, there exist essentially two schools of thought: 1. One must cover over human stench (b.o, breath) with foo foo juice, deodorants, mouthwash, essential oils, etc. 2. One should never use deodorants or colognes, etc. Revel in thy stink, because it is oh so natural. And the olfactories of bystanders be damned.

Participants may choose either side of the argument, or another point of view altogether. Use formal data or make shit up, your choice. Create characters who have strong feelings one way or the other about hygiene. Anything pertaining to hygiene is acceptable. Your 2-10 minute narrative may contain anything your uncontained imagination can conjure. Below are some links related to hygiene to get the brain moving:

If we contributed to the first podcast can we still do this one?

Is the ftp going to be the same?

  2. norelpref says:

Yes, and yes. This podcast is an ongoing series and you may choose to contribute to any episode.

shouldn’t you make this a “sticky” topic and put it at the top of the page? No micromanaging here, just a suggestion. BTW, the definition of suggestion in some old obscure dictionary I found in a thrift store is: SUBTLE COMMAND. But I just screamed right there, so I guess I wasn’t so subtle. Oh well.

  4. I agree with mr. terry that this should be made sticky, or adhere to the top of the page so that the three people who just might be interested in contributing see it. I know that people don’t like to scroll, there’s a real aversion to it where I work. But then where I work, people have microwaved popcorn and diet Dr. Pepper for lunch.

all right, all right already, is this sticky enough for ya?
